When working with me I may suggest further testing to investigate your symptoms and/or specific supplementation to enhance your healing journey and get you lasting results. These are at an additional cost and are ultimately up to you - I can tailor my suggestions to your budget.

It is recommended that you plan for return consults if you have an ongoing health condition. Natural medicine is not a quick fix and ongoing support may be necessary to get lasting results.

  • No, unfortunately I don’t work with children under 13 years old.

  • If you’re not sure which session is right for you, here’s a simple breakdown:

    • Holistic Health Consult (HHC) – This is a full 60-minute consult (available in person or online). We take a deep dive into your health history, current symptoms and goals. You’ll walk away with a personalised wellness plan including nutrition, lifestyle and supplement recommendations. Most people start here, as it gives us the best foundation to work from.

    • Decode Your Health (DYH) – This is a shorter “second opinion” style session (online only). It’s perfect if you want to dip your toes in first, ask specific questions, or gain clarity on what might be going on before committing to a full wellness plan.

Still unsure? If your goal is to really get to the root cause of your symptoms and have a clear action plan, start with the Holistic Health Consult. If you’d like to explore what working together looks like with a lighter first step, the Decode Your Health session may be a great fit.

  • No, this is completely optional. You’re welcome to book your first consult without any recent blood work. During your session, I can suggest which blood tests may be most helpful, write a referral letter for your GP if needed, and then review the results with you in a return consult.

If you’d prefer, you can also visit your GP for a routine health check beforehand and bring those results along to your first appointment. Either approach works, so it depends on what feels most convenient for you.

  • Recent blood work can give us a clearer picture of your current health and can guide your treatment plan more effectively.

Your GP will always prioritise the tests they feel are clinically appropriate for you, so it’s important to approach this conversation with respect and collaboration. However, some tests that can make a big difference to your long-term health outcomes aren’t always included in standard screening.

Below are some examples of how you can approach this conversation with your GP, depending on your main health concerns.

If you’re having difficulty losing weight

    You can say:

“I’ve been finding it really difficult to lose weight despite eating well and exercising. Could we please check for insulin resistance and thyroid function, just to make sure my metabolism is working properly?”

    Ask your GP for:

    • Fasting insulin

    • HbA1c (long-term blood sugar)

    • Fasting glucose

    • Lipid studies (cholesterol and triglycerides)

    • Homocysteine

    • Thyroid function tests (TSH, free T4, free T3, and ideally thyroid antibodies if possible)

    • Liver function tests

If you’re experiencing hormonal or menstrual symptoms

    You can say:

“I’ve been noticing irregular cycles, heavy periods, PMS symptoms, or hormonal acne. Would it be possible to run a hormone panel to see what’s going on?”

    Ask your GP for:

    • Hormone panel - LH, FSH, progesterone and oestradiol (if cycling, ideally test on day 20 of your cycle)

    • Testosterone, DHEA, SHBG

    • Thyroid function tests

    • Iron studies

    • Vitamin D

If you’re feeling fatigued, low in energy, or foggy-headed

    You can say:

“I’ve been feeling unusually tired and can’t seem to get my energy back. Could we check my iron, thyroid, and B12 levels to rule out common causes of fatigue?”

    Ask your GP for:

    • Iron studies

    • Vitamin B12 and folate

    • Thyroid function tests

    • Vitamin D

    • Liver and kidney function tests

    • Fasting glucose and HbA1c

If you’re having unexplained digestive issues

    You can say:

“I’ve been dealing with ongoing bloating and digestive discomfort. Would it be possible to see if I have Coeliac disease or a parasitic infection?”

    Ask your GP for:

    • Coeliac serology (gluten antibodies)

    • Liver function tests

    • C-reactive protein (CRP)

    • Stool test

    General tip

If you would prefer, I can provide a referral letter after our first consultation to help prepare you for your GP consultation and explain what tests would be beneficial for you.

  • I’m not a medical doctor. I’m a degree-qualified naturopath, trained in health science and natural medicine. While GPs focus on diagnosing and managing disease often through medications, naturopathy takes a holistic, root-cause approach. I support your body’s natural healing processes using evidence-informed nutrition, herbal medicine and lifestyle strategies.

I always encourage you to see your GP for primary care, diagnostics and any urgent or complex medical concerns. Ideally, we work together to give you the best of both worlds.

  • A naturopath works to uncover the root causes of your symptoms and supports your body’s natural ability to heal. I use a holistic approach that combines nutrition, lifestyle changes, herbal medicine and evidence-informed strategies to improve your health over the long term.

Rather than masking symptoms, I focus on how different systems in your body are connected - like your gut, hormones, nervous system and immune health - and tailor your wellness plan accordingly.

In our sessions, you’ll get personalised guidance, education about your body, and a clear plan to help you feel more energised, resilient and in control of your wellbeing.

  • You don’t need to wait until things get “bad” to see a naturopath. I support people at all stages of their health journey, whether you're dealing with persistent symptoms like bloating, fatigue, irregular cycles, or low immunity, or you simply want to feel more energised, balanced and in tune with your body.

    You might consider naturopathy if:

    • You’ve been told your tests are “normal” but you still feel off

    • You want to explore the root causes of your symptoms

    • You prefer a holistic, food-first approach to healing

    • You’re looking for support that works with your body, not against it

If you're feeling stuck, dismissed, or unsure of your next step, naturopathy can help you reconnect with your body and feel confident in your health again.

  • I hear this often. Many of my clients come to me after years of trying different things with little success. My approach is personalised, gentle, and designed to support your unique body, not based on one-size-fits-all advice. It takes time and consistency, but lasting change is possible.

Behind the scenes, I often spend hours deep-diving into research to ensure I’m providing the most up-to-date, evidence-informed support for your individual case. You’re not just getting generic advice, you’re getting a practitioner who’s invested in your progress.

  • This depends on your health goals, how long you’ve been experiencing symptoms, and how consistently you’re able to follow your plan. Some clients notice shifts within the first few weeks, especially with energy, digestion or sleep. For deeper or long-term issues, it may take a few months to see lasting changes. My goal is always to create sustainable results, not quick fixes, and I’ll support you every step of the way.

  • Your first consultation is all about getting the full picture of your health. We’ll go through your symptoms, medical history, diet, lifestyle, recent test results (if you have any), and your health goals. I’ll ask detailed questions to understand what’s going on beneath the surface.

By the end of the session, you’ll receive a personalised wellness plan with practical nutrition, lifestyle and supplement recommendations tailored to you. We’ll focus on root cause support, not quick fixes, and you’ll leave feeling heard, empowered and supported on your next steps.

If you’ve booked a Decode Your Health session, this is a shorter, low-commitment consult designed to give you clarity. We’ll review your health concerns, symptoms and any recent blood test results through a naturopathic lens. You’ll receive a clear summary of what I see going on, plus my recommendations for your next steps.

Please note, this session does not include a full wellness plan or supplement prescription. If you’d like more in-depth support, you’ll have the option to continue with a full Holistic Health Consult afterward.

  • Not necessarily. I’m mindful of costs, accessibility, and things like needle anxiety, so testing is never a requirement. I can work with your symptoms, health history and clinical signs to guide my recommendations. In many cases, we start with a food-first approach using tools like the GEMM protocol to support your body naturally.

That said, functional testing can sometimes help us uncover the root cause of your symptoms and create more targeted, lasting improvements. These tests are completely optional and purchased through reputable third-party providers. I always do thorough research into the credibility of any test I recommend.

If I believe a specific test or supplement may be helpful, I’ll explain why and leave the decision entirely up to you. I’ll always offer budget-conscious alternatives where possible.

  • I can refer you for privately paid blood tests if needed, but I always encourage you to see your GP for any routine blood work. They can provide bulk-billed testing and ongoing primary care. Where possible, I’ll help you make the most of results you already have or guide you on what to ask your doctor for. If desired, you can order basic blood tests via Instant Scripts for convenient pathology forms.

  • Unfortunately, no. I cannot legally or ethically provide supplements to anyone I haven’t seen for a full initial consultation (one hour). This is due to both legal and insurance requirements.

All practitioner-only products I recommend are dispensed via Vital.ly, a secure third-party platform. After your consultation, you’ll receive a personalised prescription that you can review and purchase at your own discretion. Products are shipped directly to you, and a postage fee may apply.

For local clients, I also provide liquid herbal medicine for pick-up or postage. In some cases, I may suggest over-the-counter options if budget, technology, or access are barriers.

  • If it’s appropriate for your case, I may recommend practitioner-grade supplements or herbal medicines to support your health goals. These are always tailored to your needs and based on current evidence.

You’ll be able to order any recommended products through a third-party provider (such as Vital.ly or Natural Script) at an additional cost. I’ll set up your account so you can choose your products and manage refills as needed.

I also provide liquid herbal medicines from my in-clinic dispensary. If we decide together that herbs are indicated, these can be prepared and collected from my clinic or posted at an additional cost.

  • I can offer iridology by request as part of your consultation. It’s not a diagnostic tool, but a traditional naturopathic practice that some clients find offers interesting insights into their constitution and health tendencies.

I’m not trained in homeopathy and do not prescribe homeopathic remedies. My approach is grounded in evidence-informed nutrition, herbal medicine, and lifestyle support.

  • Absolutely. Many of my clients are taking medications, and naturopathy can work alongside them safely. I’ll always consider your current prescriptions, and I’ll collaborate with your GP or specialist to ensure your wellness plan is supportive and doesn’t interfere. My aim is to enhance your health, not replace existing medical care.

  • Yes, naturopathy is generally very safe when practised by a qualified practitioner. As a degree-qualified naturopath, I’m trained in clinical assessment, drug-herb-nutrient interactions, and evidence-informed care. I take your full health picture into account including medications, diagnoses, and test results, to ensure any recommendations are appropriate and safe.

My approach is gentle, supportive and always personalised. If something isn’t right for you, we’ll find another option that is. I also refer to your GP or specialist when needed, because your safety and wellbeing come first.

  • No, naturopathy is not currently covered by Medicare in Australia. This means consultations and treatments with a naturopath are privately billed and not eligible for Medicare rebates.

  • Naturopathic care can feel like a bigger upfront investment, but it reflects the time, training and depth of support you receive. As a degree-qualified practitioner, I spend hours researching your case, reviewing test results, and creating a personalised plan that addresses the root causes of your symptoms, not just quick fixes.

You’re not just paying for the appointment time, but for a tailored approach, ongoing support, access to practitioner-only products, and someone genuinely invested in your long-term wellbeing.

Many clients find that working with a naturopath saves them time, energy and money in the long run by helping them get to the bottom of what’s going on and feel better, faster.

  • Supplements are not included in the consultation fee. Any products I recommend are based on your individual needs, testing results, and health goals. You will always have the choice to purchase or not, and I encourage you to consider your own budget and preferences when deciding.

    Here’s what to expect:

    • I provide tailored recommendations via Vital.ly, where you can review, adjust, or purchase as you wish.

    • You’ll always know the cost upfront before deciding.

    • If needed, I can suggest alternatives, such as dietary strategies, locally dispensed herbal formulas, or pharmacy-based products.

    • The focus is always on finding a practical, sustainable approach that works for you.
